We asked hundreds of women about sunscreen: why they use it, what they want from it, and why they skip it. This is what we heard:
“Sunscreens feel sticky.”
“I hate the white cast.”
“I need one product that does it all.”
We heard you!
That’s why we created One & Done Untinted Hybrid Sunscreen—lightweight, invisible, non-greasy, and hydrating with ultimate protection - all in one easy step.
A powerful blend of advanced and time-tested chemical filters, expertly combined to deliver superior protection, stability, and complete skin safety.
A mineral UV filter that stabilises chemical filters and prevents them from breaking down for all-day protection. It enhances the range of protection, providing a more comprehensive sun defence.
A potent antioxidant that removes free radicals that cause oxidative stress, a major cause of the deterioration of your skin’s collagen layer. It also works effectively to hydrate as it is both a humectant to help attract and absorb water into the skin and an emollient to prevent moisture loss.
A form of Vitamin B3 that helps grow the skin’s ceramide barrier which in turn prevents it from losing moisture and keeps it looking supple and plumped.
Aqua, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (and) Octocrylene (and) Ethylhexyl Salicylate (and) Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (and) Benzophenone-3, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate and PEG100 Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Zinc Oxide and Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Tocopheryl Acetate, Niacinamide, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Isododecane, Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Triethanolamine.
What is a Hybrid Sunscreen?
A hybrid sunscreen combines both physical (mineral) and chemical UV filters to offer broad-spectrum protection against the sun.
What do the terms ‘SPF’, ‘PA’ & ‘Broad Spectrum’ stand for?
SPF (Sun Protection Factor): Indicates the level of protection a product offers against UVB rays, which cause sunburn and skin damage.
PA: A Japanese rating system that measures protection against UVA rays, which contribute to skin ageing. It ranges from PA+ (low) to PA++++ (highest).
Broad Spectrum: Refers to sunscreens that shield against both UVA and UVB rays, ensuring comprehensive sun protection.
Is SPF 50 sunscreen necessary?
SPF 50 blocks 98% of UVB rays, providing slightly more protection than SPF 30, which blocks around 97%. While higher SPF offers extra defence, it’s essential to re-apply sunscreen every two hours—or more often if swimming or sweating—to ensure continuous protection.
Does a hybrid sunscreen need to be reapplied?
The Zinc Oxide in hybrid sunscreens helps stabilise the chemical filters, keeping them effective for longer. However, activities like swimming, sweating, or wiping your face during a workout can reduce its effectiveness. In these situations, we recommend reapplying sunscreen to maintain effective protection against the sun. For a convenient touch-up, you can use our SPF Top-Up Loose Powder.
